Entertainment
We’re always extremely grateful for the support we receive from our hugely talented performers and we try to adopt a “something for everyone” approach to our entertainment on the day. We are very pleased to welcome the following performers to the Beer Festival. Timings are approximate and the Outdoor Stage somewhat weather dependent (albeit we’re planning a big marquee outside the hall).
Too Much Stuff
9:30pm – Main Hall
Too Much Stuff are perennial favourites at the Beer Festival, with Dave and Helen kindly allowing the other performers to use their PA system during the event. Playing a wide selection of party favourites Too Much Stuff will close the event in their usual dance floor filling style.
Lords Of Mischief
7:30pm – Main Hall
Born of the beer festival, these Blewbury boys rock (literally) with songs to sing, stomp and sup along to. Cranking out classic rock tracks past and present these guys are sure to have you up and dancing with a tour of AC/DC, Bowie, The Cult through to Springsteen and the Stereophonics. Whether you’re feeling Footloose, or prefer Dancing In The Dark, you should find they Shook You All Night Long.
Scampy
6:00pm – Outdoor Stage
Scampy will be back on the outdoor stage from 6pm.
The Springliners
5:00pm – Main Hall
Better known as Jo and Matt Napper, The Springliners are also Red Lion veterans with their Blewbury take on Bluegrass.
Scampy
4:00pm – Outdoor Stage
Scampy is an experienced duo singing re-visioned covers of artists such as Lady A, Beatles, Carole King, Nerina Pallot, and many others. Their eclectic mix, which includes original compositions, will appeal to a wide range of ages.
Jae
3:00pm – Main Hall
In his own words “I’ll play piano and guitar. Classic sing a long stuff with a twist (because I can’t play them like they should be played!)”. Jae is another stalwart of the Blewbury music scene and can be regularly seen at the Open Mic nights, as well as featuring in ‘Blewbury Song for Europe’.
Janet Morgan
2:00pm – Outdoor Stage
Another brilliant local performer, star of many an event and regular fixture of the Beer Festival, Janet will be opening the festival with a selection of songs from yesteryear.
